I think it would be cool to have random scripted events like if your going supremacy a virus can break out and cities could be infected and go berzerk (become city states unless you cure them), or actually the contact ending from the first game could add some things if you wanted to continue the story from the first game. actually I'm not sure if that would really work out well. I would love to see a new and improved beyond earth game, maybe with access to build on the moon with use of short range teleporters after its researched and launching one, kinda like the caves from age of wonders 3.
